A ductman is a professional who works in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry, installing, repairing, and maintaining ductwork systems:
Installation: Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork and other metal parts
Repair: Inspect ductwork for damage, leaks, or defects, and perform necessary repairs
Maintenance: Ensure proper insulation and sealing of duct systems
Collaboration: Work with other trades and departments, such as HVAC technicians, welders, and engineers
Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols, especially while working in confined spaces or high-pressure environments
Quality control: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
