A QHSE supervisor's job is to ensure that a workplace is safe, healthy, and environmentally sound. Their responsibilities include:
Assessing quality: Examining products for compliance and quality
Inspecting: Inspecting the workplace, equipment, and quality and safety practices
Developing programs: Developing and conducting training programs for quality and safety
Designing processes: Designing and implementing workplace processes and procedures
Evaluating programs: Evaluating programs on quality, health, and safety
Providing guidance: Providing guidance and direction to employees and management on QHSE issues
Maintaining documentation: Maintaining and reviewing documentation, and ensuring it is available to all personnel
Promoting safety awareness: Instilling safety awareness and promoting best practices
Responding to incidents: Responding promptly and effectively to incidents or accidents on site
Reporting: Preparing regular reports on site HSE performance, and documenting incidents and corrective actions taken
Monitoring safety equipment: Monitoring the status of all safety equipment, and identifying recurrent corrective maintenance interventions
Monitoring compliance: Monitoring compliance with regulations and internal policies
