Duties & Responsibilities:
• Receive work instruction from Foreman - Mechanical and the necessary tasks to be performed; obtain necessary materials, spare parts and tools and proceeds to the job site for necessary repair work.
• Perform routine servicing on equipment such as changing oil, lubricating and cleaning of parts; includes disassembling and reassembling.
• Carry out preventative and defect maintenance of equipment, disassembling, checking parts and attachments, repairing or replacing work parts, reassembling and test running, as per defined operating procedures.
• Perform major mechanical repairs and overhauls on various equipment, in accordance with planned maintenance schedules and in conjunction with contractor's personnel.
• Reinstall repaired units on locations and run tests to ensure proper operation.
• Check equipment and machinery for overheating and leaks, and ensure that all safety devices are functioning normally while informing superior of any anomalies for timely maintenance.
• Coordinate with Foreman - Mechanical whenever operational problems and emergency occurs to support minimal downtime.
• Conduct daily check-up as per SOP before and after a work. Ensure that the machinery is in good condition before starting to operate and for the incoming shift.
• Regularly clean and perform routine inspection of the machinery while informing superior of any anomalies to facilitate timely maintenance.
• Put the machinery to stop when any abnormalities or unusual observations are noticed while operating and immediately report to the Supervisor.
• Report any accidents, injuries or defects immediately to the Supervisor to facilitate action.
• Read and interpret simple machine diagrams, manuals, and drawings as necessary to facilitate the execution of assigned tasks.
• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Prepare report at the end of shift and make proper turnover to the incoming shift operator. Note down any delays encountered and unfinished job.
• Optimize machinery utilization and ensure efficient operation of the machinery.
• Comply with the company QHSSE approved policy.
• Perform any relevant additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the Superior(s).

Desired Profile:
Education: • Minimum primary school certification.
Experience: • Minimum 06 years of experience in similar field working with same machinery and equipment within the industry, depending on the level of education.
Professional Training: • Trade certificate/license related to the function.
