A QA/QC electrical inspector ensures that electrical systems, equipment, and construction activities meet quality standards. They inspect materials, equipment, and installations, and ensure that they comply with industry standards, project specifications, and relevant codes.
Responsibilities -
1. Inspecting: Inspect materials, equipment, and installations
2. Testing: Test electrical components, instruments, fiber optics, and pneumatic and communication systems
3. Measuring: Measure products with calipers, gauges, or micrometers
4. Monitoring: Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards
5. Recommending: Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
6. Documenting: Issue quality records, write non-conformance reports, and manage documents certifying tests, controls, and inspections
7. Ensuring compliance: Ensure conformity with quality plans and procedures, regulatory standards, and relevant codes
8. Coordinating: Coordinate commissioning of electrical systems, and liaise with the construction management team and client
9. Improving: Recommend and implement improvements when required
