Responsibilities -
1. Inspect and test: Inspect products at various stages of production, including raw materials, parts, and finished products
2. Establish testing procedures: Create procedures to determine a product's dimensions and characteristics
3. Measure products: Use calipers, gauges, or micrometers to measure products
4. Operate equipment: Use electronic inspection equipment and software, such as X-ray cameras and ultrasound machines
5. Identify defects: Use NDT techniques to identify defects that are not visible to the naked eye
6. Recommend improvements: Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
7. Communicate guidelines: Communicate guidelines and expectations to other company employees
