Responsibilities -
1. Visual inspection: Examine piping systems for defects and irregularities, including pipe welds, fittings, flanges, and valves
2. Dimensional inspection: Check the size and wall thickness of pipes
3. Welding inspection: Check welding procedures, welder qualifications, and certifications
4. Pressure testing: Attend hydro and pneumatic tests of piping systems
5. Material inspection: Verify that the correct materials are used
6. Documentation: Record inspection results, non-conformities, and actions taken
7. Coordination: Coordinate with welders, fitters, and engineers to ensure quality standards
