Briefing of Duties and responsibilities:
• Study the scope of work and plan the sequence of activities, plan the resources, material and tools.
• Identify the materials to be procured Ensure material requests are issued on time.
• Capable to manage the Shift independently.
• Ensure manpower and equipment requirement are communicate on time.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure resources are mobilized on time.
• Coordinate the entire activities of the SD and control the resources and subcontractors to ensure optimum utilization.
• Overall responsible for the staff and workman to ensure all the jobs are being supported with adequate resources.
• Ensure safe execution of activities from award to handover.
• Interact and coordinate with client to understand the execution priorities.
• Motivate the subordinates with respect to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Closely monitor the progress of the project and provide constructive advice where appropriate.
• Identify subcontract activities and communicate the subcontract scope to the subcontracts department.
• Interact with subcontractors to ensure they are aware of the scope, criticality and client expectations interns of safety, Quality and schedule.
• maximize safety/efficiency/productivity and ensure proper Handover is done between the shifts.
• Ensure that continual safety vigilance and awareness is reinforced to all subordinates and ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of safety.
• Ensure all company reports, schedules and documentation are completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications/Experience:
• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 20 years experience in oil and gas industry in executing Major SD.
• At least have handled 10 Major SD at the capacity Shutdown execution lead (2000+ head count).
• Good understanding of various static equipment, Piping specification and quality standards
• Responsible as team leader for reviewing.
• Ability to lead teams with strong interpersonal and communication skill
• Medically and Physically Fit
• Good contractual and commercial concepts.
