Marine Construction
Responsibilities -
- Set up, inspect, and operate lifting and rigging equipment for marine construction.
- Assist in the safe lifting and positioning of heavy materials for breakwater and jetty construction.
- Ensure proper rigging of piles, precast elements, and other marine components.
- Conduct safety inspections of slings, shackles, and lifting gears before use.
- Work closely with crane operators and site supervisors to ensure safe lifting operations.
Requirements -
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a rigger in marine construction.
- Certification in rigging and lifting operations (if required by local regulations).
- Strong understanding of load limits, lifting angles, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work in offshore and tidal zone environments.
