An O&M fire fighting technician maintains and repairs fire suppression systems, fire alarms, and other fire safety equipment. They also perform safety inspections and troubleshoot issues.
Responsibilities -
Install, maintain, and repair: Install, operate, and maintain fire suppression systems, fire alarms, and other fire safety equipment
Inspect and test: Inspect, test, and perform system checks to identify deficiencies
Troubleshoot: Troubleshoot and repair systems, including panels, devices, and low voltage circuits
Program systems: Program fire alarm, security, and access control system panels
Prepare reports: Prepare accurate and timely inspection reports
Provide recommendations: Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently
Support emergencies: Support plant breakdowns and outages as needed
Contribute to safety: Contribute to plant-wide safety initiatives and uphold Life Saving Rules
