1 Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies requirement of Contractor personnel Following shall be minimum requirements for the resources supplied under this amendment. This shall be read along with the requirements mentioned in the Scope of Work under Category-B of existing contract. Wherever there is a conflict this document prevails.
1.1 Language:
▪ Working level Read, Write, Understand competency in English language.
1.2 Safety:
Applicable to all Contractor Personnel
▪ Shall be well familiar with the hazardous chemicals / materials used in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry, their hazards, and safe practices to perform the installation/maintenance activity safely.
▪ Shall always adhere to QAFCO’s Safety requirements.
▪ Shall have knowledge about PTW system in large scale industries and shall pass COMPANY’s PTW acceptance authorization tests.
▪ Shall understand and work within the framework of COMPANY’s Maintenance procedures, HSEQ Policy, and regulations.
1.3 Job specific:
Technicians - Technical Diploma in respective trade (10+3 years) 07 years relevant and hands-on experience in respective trade, in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry *
HVAC Technicians:
· More than five (5) Years hands on experience in industrial HVAC systems, preferably in oil and gas field or similar Hazardous environments.
· Technician has previous working experience in QAFCO will be preferred.
· Proficiency in English language– Read, speak with effective verbal communication and report writing.
· Knowledge of HVAC principles, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
· Extensive knowledge in diagnosing HVAC equipment, troubleshooting issues, performing repair or replacement of faulty components, and ensuring the overall functionality and efficiency of HVAC systems in industrial settings.
· Familiarity with industrial-grade HVAC equipment and controls.
· Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
· Understanding of pressurization systems and their importance in Hazardous areas.
· Familiarity with filtration systems for dust, chemical contamination, and odors.
· Experience in installation, inspection, and commissioning of HVAC systems and their integration plant monitoring systems.
· Capability to work in challenging environments (e.g. extreme weather conditions).
· Experience of conducting / attending toolbox meetings for work activity.
· Prepare progress reports on MS-office.
