Position Main Objective -
To provide expert guidance and support in establishing, optimizing, and managing Project Management Office (PMO) practices. The PMO Consultant ensures alignment between project execution and organizational strategy by implementing standardized methodologies, improving project governance, and enhancing reporting frameworks to drive successful project delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities -
• Design, implement, and enhance PMO frameworks, processes, and tools tailored to the organization’s needs.
• Provide strategic advice and consulting on project governance, portfolio management, and resource allocation.
• Support project teams in the application of best practices, tools, and methodologies across the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate the development of project charters, business cases, plans, and KPIs.
• Monitor project performance and support risk management, issue tracking, and corrective action planning.
• Develop and deliver PMO reports and dashboards for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Mentor and train project managers and team members on PMO policies and project management standards.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and quality expectations.
• Evaluate and recommend project management software or digital tools to enhance PMO capability.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to mature PMO operations and effectiveness.Maintain consistency in food preparation and presentation across all shifts.
Educational -
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• PMP®, PRINCE2®, or equivalent project management certification is required.
• A Master’s degree or specialization in Portfolio/Program Management or Organizational Development is a plus.
Experience -
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in project or program management, with at least 3 years in a PMO role.
• Proven experience in setting up or improving PMO functions in medium to large-scale organizations.
• Exposure to both Agile and Waterfall project management environments.
Skills & Competencies -
• Strong knowledge of project management frameworks, tools, and methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, Lean).
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project portfolio management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet, Jira).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to drive organizational change and promote a project-centric culture.
• Capable of influencing and guiding cross-functional teams without direct authority.
