Qualification - mechanical diploma
Experience - Manufacturing / operation (5-Years and above)

• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques.

Key Accountabilities -
> Set up, operate, and maintain lathe machines according to blueprints and work instructions.
> Securely load, unload, and position metal workpieces on the lathe.
> Machine parts to precise specifications using cutting tools and coolants.
> Measure and inspect parts throughout the machining process using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
> Ensure parts meet quality standards and document any deviations.
> Perform basic maintenance tasks on assigned lathe machines, such as cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments.
> Maintain a clean and safe work area following all safety protocols and procedures.
> May assist with troubleshooting and resolving machine malfunctions.
> Perform all other duties as assigned.
> To maintain a good camaraderie at work and the spirit of teamwork within the department.
> Reviewing samples, drawings, or instructions to understand specifications of output while being precise and accurate
> Having knowledge and operating skills on additional machines is a preferable (Milling machine, Grinding machine and Drilling machine)
