Degree: Associate’s Degree or up to 3 years of College or Technical School, science field.

Experience: 4-6 years of Petroleum, Petrochemical or as Plant Operator in SMO manufacturing Plant.

Responsibilities: To operate Sodium Methoxide plant and equipment in safe and cost effective manner follow SOPs, work instructions, record readings, and report up normality to supervisor for corrective actions.

Job Duties:
1. Monitoring, controlling and logging of plant operating parameters and responsible for smooth operation of plant.
2. Controlling the plant parameters through PLC, immediately report to shift supervisor in case of any upset in the plant parameters or plant emergency.
3. Take plant tours and verify PLC parameters with local instrumentation.
4. Prepare daily production and raw material consumption sheet.
5. Visual inspection and observation of plant equipment’s and initiate the maintenance job requirements on time to prevent equipment breakdown.
6. Responsible for firefighting in case of plant emergency.
7. Follow work permit procedures and safety procedure and prepare equipment to handover to maintenance department.
8. Monitoring the storage tanks levels, carry out manual tank dips and loading / unloading of products.
9. Follow other assigned jobs by the supervisor as need arises.
10. Ensure housekeeping of the assigned area and equipment’s.
