Job Description:
A Steel Fixer job involves positioning and securing steel reinforcement bars (rebar) and mesh within concrete structures. They work on construction sites, interpreting blueprints and specifications to determine the required layout and dimensions of the rebar, then use tools to cut, shape, and place it according to the design plans. Steel fixers also secure the rebar using wire or plastic ties, and may also weld or bolt pieces together.
