1. Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
2. Basic level of Quantity Surveyor methods, take-offs, BOQs etc , Sound analytical and problemsolving skills , Good communication and negotiation skills.
3. Measuring and estimating of construction costs and cost planning.
4. Proven record of success as an accomplished Quantity Surveyor within the Mechanical/Civil
Engineering
5. Monitoring and reporting of costs and revenue to determine the financial outcome and
6. profitability of individual contracts.
7. Exceptional negotiation skills, strong interpersonal skills, confidence and professionalism.
8. Advise internal team on contract matters and contract interpretation.
9. Participates and organizes meetings, as required, internally within ECC/vendor or with the Client.
10. Ensure implementation and compliance of the COMPANY EHSS Management and IMS policy.
11. Lead and manage overall Office or Onsite activities to efficiently cater to the requirement of the
Department.
12. Overview the planning procedures and improve as necessary to ensure they are in line with the
current requirement and effectively meet the business needs.
13. Coordinate with other Departments in Preparing, Planning and Execution of Project Activities.
14. Ensure up to date, Services wise reports are maintained.
15. Adhere to Company Safety and Quality Policies, Rules and Regulations, as well Clients specific
policies.
16. Plan, allocate resources, manpower, equipment, order materials, prepare all documentation and
manage resources at supervisory level.
17. Develop the Staff Skills and ensure their capabilities to perform their jobs safely.
18. Responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing all tasks that relate to a specific
project.
19. Attend JSA meetings and convey same to foreman and technician. Prepare JSA documents
accordingly.
20. Conduct tool box talks with foreman and technicians.
21. Arrange for yearly performance reports for all staff, including the identification of training needs.
