Job Description:
A gypsum worker, also known as a drywall installer or gypsum carpenter, is responsible for installing and finishing gypsum board (also known as drywall) in buildings. This includes measuring, cutting, and fitting the boards, as well as applying joint compound and tape to create smooth, seamless surfaces. They may also be involved in installing metal or wood framing, creating architectural features like bulkheads and ceilings, and ensuring the work is completed safely and efficiently.
