 To carry out Maintenance mechanical jobs (Preventive, Corrective & Trouble Shoot) for
all Qapco Complex Vehicles listed below (Mobile cranes, Forklifts, Diesel Engines, Fire
Fighting Equipment (firefighting’s Trucks and Ambulances) according to schedule in SAP
system.
 To perform minor and major overhauling of diesel engines including hydraulic system in
vehicles.
 To carry out lubrication and greasing to all types of vehicles.
 To carry out repair of damaged components of vehicles.
 To do check and change tyres if required for all vehicles.
 To perform other works such as preparation of documents, daily follow up of spares,
transportation of material and site cleaning.
 To carry out trouble shooting for all diesel machine and vehicles.
 To receive verbal or written work instructions with clear information and work methods to
standards and discusses drawing details.
 To clarify work requirements with hierarchy REPRESENTATIVE before implementation.
 To obtain all required work permits from hierarchy REPRESENTATIVE before commencing
the assigned work.
 To ensure that tools and equipment are in safe and effective working conditions. Keep safety
requirements to be maintained in accordance with QAPCO’s regulations and safety
standards.
 To check work quality, and take corrective action to rectify any detected faults through the
work examination methods and standards.
 To perform other similar or related duties such as maintaining good housekeeping in work
sites and in workshops and ensuring safety regulations are adhered to according to QAPCO
policy.
