Job Description:
1.Inspect cores to ensure they are of required quality to produce good castings
2.Operate machine at maximum efficiency and record hourly performance
3. Be familiar with all aspects of machine and be able to report accurately any faults
that occur
4. Ensure that machine is kept clean and that the work area reflects the high standard
of housekeeping required by SMI 2
5. Inspect the core box on a regular basis during production to ensure tooling is at
required standard
6. Be capable of controlling coating thickness and be able to brush or dip coat cores
produced
