Job Description:
An HMC (Horizontal Machining Center) Operator sets up and operates computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines to cut, drill, and shape metal parts according to blueprints and specifications. Key responsibilities include loading material, selecting tools and programs, performing quality checks, monitoring machine performance, troubleshooting basic issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
