Key Responsibilities
Team & Production Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the fabrication team to ensure production schedules and deadlines are met and that products are completed to required standards.
Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet specifications and implement corrective actions when issues arise.
Safety & Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with regulations.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
Coordination: Coordinate with other departments and sub-contractors to optimize workflow and ensure smooth operations between different stages of a project.
Staff Development: Train, mentor, and evaluate staff members, and take corrective action as necessary.
Record Keeping: Maintain records of production output, downtime, and inventory of raw materials and supplies.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: A high school diploma is a minimum requirement, with a technical or engineering degree often preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment, with proven supervisory experience.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabrication processes, machinery, and blueprint reading.
Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
