• Disassemble and inspect hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves and motors.
• Conduct field service calls for various hydraulic troubleshooting in heavy equipment’s.
• Repair hydraulic components such as hydraulic hoses and fittings onto hydraulic cylinders, motors cylinders, pumps, motors, or valves.
• Diagnose problems with hydraulic systems and repairing them using hand tools, power tools, and computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Inspect hydraulic systems to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently at all times.
• Repair hydraulic equipment by replacing seals, gaskets, filters, and other components Repair pumps, valves, motors and cylinders as related to our business, per customer request.
• Install, service, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems, including power steering systems, brake systems, lift gates, and fluid couplings.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs performed on hydraulic systems.
• Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot components such as pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, accumulators and filters.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems using hand and power tools.
• Prevent breakdowns in heavy equipment by conducting preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Control and maintain fuels and lubricants oils in the garage for the all operations.
• Coordinate with Foreman - Mobile Equipment in order to maintain the essential spares for day and shift maintenance activity.
• Prepare report at the end of shift and make proper turnover to the incoming shift operator. Note down any delays encountered and unfinished job.
• Ensure assigned machinery is left in a clean and hazard-free condition.
• Report any accidents, injuries or defects immediately to the Foreman - Mobile Equipment to facilitate action.
• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Ensure all assigned tasks in the area(s) within the scope of responsibility are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Read and interpret simple machine diagrams, manuals, and drawings as necessary to facilitate the execution of assigned tasks.
• Perform housekeeping during and after completion of jobs.
• Comply with the company QHSSE approved policy.
• Perform any relevant additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the Superior(s).
