• Ensure that all work carried out is to a high standard of workmanship as per company policy.
• Ensure Job Card is prepared, and hour clock is active before starting any repair.
• Read & understand all repair work required before starting any repair work and discuss the repair with the concern supervisor/team leader in-case any line is missing or not clear to avoid redoing of work.
• Ensure Fix It Right First Time (FRFT) process and all job cards are finished on time.
• Ensure that there is no overlapping of time allotted for painting of vehicles in order to ensure proper Time Management.
• Monitor painting operations in order to identify flaws such as blisters and streaks so that their causes can be corrected.
• Performs factory warranty service according to established procedures.
• Ensure that all paint and material used are accurately recorded.
• Minimize wastage of all materials, paints and fluids, in order to reduce operating cost.
• Maintain your work area, tools and equipment to a high standard and ensure understanding and comply with all health and safety regulations and that customer vehicles are appropriately protected while in our care.
• Performs preventive maintenance, cleaning, and repairs on dealership tools and equipment; ensures facility is clean and always organized.
• Ensure high quality service and repairs are provided to every customer.
• Achieve the highest possible customer satisfaction levels by providing a quality of service.
• Ensure not to cause accidental damage to vehicle and components during painting.
• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
• Ensure that all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is used by technicians all the time and report damaged and losses to his management accordingly
