Job Description:
A Pipe Fitter installs, maintains, and repairs complex piping systems for fluids, gases, steam, and chemicals in industrial, commercial, and construction settings, reading blueprints, fabricating/cutting pipes, and assembling them using welding, threading, and other techniques to ensure systems for heating, cooling, fuel, and processing operate safely and efficiently. They work with high-pressure systems and specialized tools, often in power plants, refineries, factories, and large buildings, collaborating with other trades.
