Education:
• Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Production, or Tool & Die Engineering.
Experience:
• 2–5 years of experience in dimensional inspection of sand-cast components (preferably valves, pumps, impellers, turbine casings, or similar heavy castings).
Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) principles.
• Experience with blueprint reading and casting drawings.
• Hands-on with measuring instruments – Vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, height gauge, surface plate, slip gauges, etc.
• Knowledge of casting process and machining allowances.
• Familiarity with CMM operation (added advantage).
Soft Skills:
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Teamwork and problem-solving orientation.
