1. Site Supervision & Execution:
• Oversee day-to-day activities for rotating equipment maintenance,
shutdowns, and turnarounds.
• Supervise technicians, contractors, and vendors to ensure proper
execution of mechanical tasks.
• Ensure all work is performed according to SABIC procedures,
engineering standards, and equipment OEM manuals.
• Plan and prioritize daily job assignments and allocate resources
efficiently.
2. Rotating Equipment Management:
• Lead maintenance and repair activities for pumps, compressors,
turbines, blowers, fans, gearboxes, mixers, and mechanical seals.
• Review diagnostic reports including vibration analysis, alignment
checks, and performance data.
• Coordinate with reliability and engineering teams for chronic issues and
major repairs.
• Ensure proper installation, commissioning, and functionality testing of
rotating machines.
3. Safety & Compliance:
• Enforce SABIC safety rules, permit-to-work (PTW), and risk assessment
requirements at the job site.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for maintenance teams.
• Ensure all tasks follow HSE, environmental, and regulatory guidelines.
• Report incidents and near-misses and participate in safety
investigations.
4. Quality Assurance:
• Inspect completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards and
specifications.
• Verify that proper tools, calibrated instruments, and approved materials
are used.
• Review and approve job reports, service documents, and handover files.
