Job Requirements (but not limited to)
 Man, and Operate Packaging Equipment which includes Bagging Machine, Bulk Loading / Belt
Thrower System, Super Sack and Broken Bag System as per Standard Operating Procedures
(SOP).
 Uphold safety in overall Packaging Operation maintaining safety compliance as per Tenets of
Operation, company standard, policies and procedures, SOP, and EOP 100% compliance.
 Performs machine minor troubleshooting which includes mechanical / parameters adjustments.
 Provide support to maintenance personnel during machine repairs and troubleshooting by supplying
accurate information on failure history and hands on support to maintenance personnel as
necessary.
 Able to apply Life Critical Procedures (LCP) 100% safely.
 Prepares Equipment for any maintenance issues applying applicable LCP (isolation, issuance of
PTW, Safety Emergency bypass, etc.)
 Maintain high quality products upholding Customer Satisfaction as per Q-Chem Quality
Management System.
 Monitors equipment, reports and record abnormalities for corrective actions
 Responsible for Inventory accuracy of PE Product (Production), proper labelling and
documentation.
 Assist with Physical Inventory and Reconciliation of missing Inventory.
 Able to operate Forklift efficiently and safely for Packaging Materials (Bag Roll, Pallet, etc.)
 Able to install Sea Bulk Liner properly and safely
 Operate Q-Chem Warehouse Operations within the culture, laws, and Environment of Qatar
 Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
 Physically capable of lifting 20 kgs over head
 Physically capable of climbing ladders and Monkey Ladder
 Physically capable of working outdoors in temperatures approaching 60oC
 Support a working Environment of Empowerment that takes responsibility for personal safety and
quality of work.
 Conducts regular / routine rounds and takes readings (using eSOMs handheld).
 Maintain effective Team communications.
 To help / train Newly Hired Senior and Work-up Equipment Operator.
 Open and honest participation in Incident Investigation and application of Tenets of Operations
 Actively participate in any Q-Chem Safety Program (QSAFE, Safety Audit, Safety Campaign,
Housekeeping, etc.)
 Support Qatari Development Program
 Perform other task in addition to regular duties.
