 Design and development of all types of Piping design deliverables such as, but not limited to preparing
2D & 3D designs of Piping General Arrangements, equipment layout, piping isometrics, pipe support
layouts etc. as per QChem/ CPChem standards.
 Develop 3D models in S3D/SP3D, ensure clash free design and extraction of all Piping and other
relevant deliverables.
 Knowledgeable in Safety in Design (SID).
 Material Take-Offs of all Piping related items.
 Perform design verification through single discipline checks (SDC) and/or inter-discipline checks (IDC)
 Interdisciplinary check of all Civil/Structural/Piping/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation drawings.
 Gathering data from site for design and development of engineering package and As-builts.
 Review of Contractor, Vendor and/or Third-Party drawings for Project Design Package.
 Support the Project and discipline engineers for completing all design activities on time.
 Has basic level understanding of Process Piping standards such as ASME B31.3.
Civil:
 Design and development of civil & structural related engineering deliverables such as, but not limited to,
2D & 3D designs for, platforms, pipe racks, pipe supports, equipment/building foundations, architectural
drawings, steel/concrete beams and columns details, structural connection details, MTOs/BOQs, as
builts and other related drawings/documents as per QChem/CPChem standards.
 Knowledgeable in Safety in Design (SID).
 3D modelling in S3D/SP3D, and extraction of all Civil/Structural and other relevant deliverables.
 Material Take-Offs of all concrete, re-bars and structural related items.
 Produce underground facilities design package for drainage trench/culverts, valve and other drainage
pits.
 Perform design verification through single discipline checks (SDC) and/or inter-discipline checks (IDC)
 Interdisciplinary check of all Civil/Structural/Piping/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation drawings.
 Gathering data from site and develop design package and As-builts.
 Review of Contractor, Vendor and/or Third-Party drawings for Project Design Package.
 Support the Project and discipline engineers for completing all design activities on time.
Electrical:
 Design and development of electrical engineering design deliverables as per QChem/ CPChem
standards such as, but not limited to:
o Cable /trays and cable routing layouts
o Cable schedule/ cable list
o Consumer/Load list
o Single line diagram
o Inter-Connection & Wiring Diagram, Control schematic diagram.
o Grounding/Earthing layout
o Block Diagram and Motor Control Schematics
o Electrical Building and Equipment Layout
o Lighting layout
o Hazardous Area Classification
o Preparation of MTOs/BOQs
o As-Builts and other related drawings/documents using 2D (MicroStation and AutoCAD) and 3D
(e.g.S3D).
 Material Take-Offs of all Electrical related items/component.
 Knowledgeable in Safety in Design (SID).
 Perform design verification through single discipline checks (SDC) and/or inter-discipline checks (IDC)
 Interdisciplinary check of all Civil/Structural/Piping/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation drawings.

 Has basic knowledge of Electrical related Codes and Standards.
Instrumentation:
 Design and develop Instrumentation engineering design deliverables as per QChem/ CPChem
standards such as, but not limited to:
o INTOOLS wiring, Loop drawings & Strip report generation.
o Instrument Hook-up Diagrams
o Instrument and JB Location Plans
o Fire and Gas Location Plans
o Instrument Cable Block Diagrams
o Instrument Index and I/O list
o Instrument Cable Schedule
o Instrument wiring and loop diagrams
o Cabinet drawings update.
o Cable /trays and cable routing layouts
o Knowledge of Cable Trench and Duct bank sizing calculations.
o Knowledge of cable sizing and voltage drop calculations.
 As-Builts and other related drawings/documents in 2D e.g. MicroStation and AutoCAD.
 Knowledgeable in Safety in Design (SID).
 3D Modelling of Instruments (Offline Process Instruments, F&G Instruments & Telecom instruments)
 Material Take-Offs of all Instrumentation related items/component.
 Perform design verification through single discipline checks (SDC) and/or inter-discipline checks (IDC)
 Interdisciplinary check of all Civil/Structural/Piping/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation drawings.
 Gathering data from site for preparing design package and As-builts.
 Review of Contractor, Vendor and or Third-Part drawings for Project Design Package.
 To assist in the coordination of all Design activities related to the discipline.
 Has basic level of Instrumentation related International Codes and Standards.
