Job Purpose
Perform activities related to receiving and analyzing raw material and cement samples and conducting laboratory
chemical tests and analyses according to approved procedures, policies, and testing objectives.
Job Requirements
Education: Minimum Diploma in General Chemistry or related field. Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Chemical
Sciences or related discipline.
Experience: Diploma holders: 2-4 years. Bachelor degree holders: 1-2 years. Preferred experience in the cement
industry.
Languages: Arabic - Basic | English - Intermediate

Technical Tasks and Responsibilities
1 Receive raw material and cement samples and record all testing data and requirements.
2 Conduct chemical tests on cement and raw materials to determine moisture and gypsum content in accordance
with approved standards and procedures.
3 Perform clinker chemical analyses including free lime and insoluble material tests to ensure compliance with
SASO specifications.
4 Accurately record and archive test and examination results for future reference.
5 Organize and store chemicals, liquids, and compressed gases safely and appropriately.
6 Conduct periodic inventories of laboratory materials and equipment and report shortages to the supervisor.
7 Ensure laboratory equipment and testing tools remain maintained and ready for operation.
8 Adjust and calibrate testing devices and analytical instruments to ensure result accuracy.
9 Perform chemical analysis of competitor products to support comparison and product improvement initiatives.
10 Report equipment malfunctions and unusual observations and submit maintenance requests for laboratory devices
and instruments.
11 Perform any additional duties assigned by the direct supervisor.
