Plan and forecast materials, mechanical spare parts, and tools required for maintenance activities; coordinate with
suppliers; ensure availability of quality spare parts at the best value; and support maintenance reliability and
operational continuity.
Job Requirements
Education: Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical
Engineering or related field accredited by the Saudi Council of Engineers.
Experience: Diploma holders: 2-4 years. Bachelor degree holders: 1-2 years. Preferred experience in heavy industry
or cement plant equipment maintenance.
Professional Certification: Preferred Certified Maintenance Planner (CMP).
Languages: Arabic - Intermediate | English - Advanced

Technical Tasks and Responsibilities
1 Plan and forecast mechanical spare parts, tools, and materials required for maintenance activities to support
operational continuity.
2 Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure spare-part availability and maintain minimum and maximum stock levels
through purchase orders and contracts.
3 Coordinate with approved suppliers to secure the best quality materials and spare parts at the lowest cost while
identifying new suppliers.
4 Study and evaluate technical proposals submitted by suppliers and ensure compliance with company
specifications and standards.
5 Classify spare parts into categories and establish inventory management rules for effective stock control.
6 Monitor changes in spare-part specifications and communicate updates to procurement teams.
7 Monitor the performance of installed spare parts and manage warranty claims, replacement requests, and supplier
follow-up when failures occur.
8 Approve plans and drawings prepared by mechanical draftsmen and ensure proper documentation and archiving.
9 Provide repair solutions before initiating purchases whenever practical and without affecting equipment efficiency.
10 Participate in the inspection of received spare parts and verify their compliance with required specifications.
11 Create and continuously update BOM (Bill of Materials) records for all mechanical plant equipment.
12 Participate in preparing annual spare-parts budgets based on expected maintenance activities and operational
requirements.
13 Perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor.
