Job Purpose
Supervise and monitor the operation of power generation units, machinery and control systems during the shift,
ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply to the factory and residential facilities while allocating resources according to
operational plans.
Job Requirements
Education: Industrial Secondary School Certificate or equivalent. Preferred: Diploma in a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years relevant experience for secondary graduates or 1-2 years for diploma holders. Preferred
experience in power generation plants.
Languages: Arabic - Intermediate | English - Intermediate

Technical Responsibilities
1 Supervise operation of steam turbines, boilers, and auxiliary equipment according to approved plans and
procedures.
2 Supervise operation of diesel engines, generators, and control systems in the control room.
3 Conduct inspections of power generation units and gas turbines while ensuring compliance with HSE
requirements.
4 Participate in inspections, preliminary maintenance, fault monitoring, documentation, and permit issuance for
generating units.
5 Schedule and oversee backup diesel generator testing for emergency readiness.
6 Review electricity production data, analyze deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
7 Review job request forms and identify resources required for execution.
8 Prepare detailed shift reports covering production, fuel consumption, stoppages, breakdowns, and unusual
observations.
9 Ensure availability of fuel, oils, and operating materials required for uninterrupted power generation and
distribution.
10 Perform other duties assigned by the direct supervisor.
Administrative Responsibilities
• Conduct regular meetings with subordinates.
• Prepare periodic reports on team activities and achievements.
• Monitor employee compliance with policies and procedures.
• Communicate management decisions and circulars.
• Evaluate subordinate performance and provide recommendations.
• Identify training needs and monitor training effectiveness.
• Manage leave, permissions, and administrative matters.
• Assign acting supervisors when required.
