Key responsibilities include:
• Operating plastic injection moulding machines during assigned shifts.
• Monitoring machine running condition and reporting abnormalities.
• Inspecting finished parts according to quality standards.
• Identifying and reporting defects such as flash, short moulding, colour variation, black spots, burn marks, deformation, cracks, and dimensional issues.
• Removing finished parts from the machine safely and correctly.
• Trimming, checking, packing, and recording production where required.
• Assisting with material changes, colour changes, machine cleaning, and workplace organisation.
• Following instructions from setters, technicians, and shift supervisors.
• Maintaining production records, rejection records, and shift handover information.
• Following factory rules on attendance, breaks, safety, hygiene, discipline, and production targets.
• Working rotating shifts, including night shifts and Saturdays where required and legally permitted.
Required Experience
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience operating plastic injection moulding machines.
• Experience in a real injection moulding production environment.
• Ability to identify common moulding defects and report them quickly.
• Ability to follow work instructions, quality standards, production targets, and shift discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
• Factory-based technical training, plastics processing exposure, machine operator training, ITI, CIPET, or equivalent practical experience.
• Basic understanding of plastic materials, machine alarms, cycle monitoring, product inspection, and production records.
