Roles & Responsibilities
❖ Conduct a daily pre-start inspection checklist of cranes.
❖ Review and understand lift plans, risk assessments, and lifting procedures before starting
lifting.
❖ Reading crane load charts, operating manuals, and lifting capacities to ensure safe lifting
practices.
❖ Perform lifting operations in compliance with OEM, company standards and client
requirements.
❖ Coordinate with the riggers and site personnel during lifting activities.
❖ Monitor crane performance and immediately report any BD or safety concern to his line
supervisor.
❖ Ensure cranes are operated within their rated capacities and manufacturer limit.
❖ Maintain housekeeping standards for assigned crane.
❖ Perform the minimum maintenance task for the crane ( boom greasing, Hydraulic oil
checking, coolant level, etc.).
❖ Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, training programs, and emergency drills.
❖ Follow instructions and work schedules issued by the Operations Supervisor.
❖ Ensure the crane are barricaded before starting the lift.
❖ Participate in other jobs assigned by the supervisor if required.
