Duties and responsibilities
• Able to run heavy duty Conventional (Swing over dia 1000mm, Length 3000mm) lathe machines
• Able to independently setup heavy component in 4 jaw chuck, steady rest and tailstock
• Able to run heavy duty radial drilling machine.
• Able to read the engineering drawing ,understand dimensional & geometrical tolerances.
• Able to read the engineering and interpret it into machining sequences
• Must ready to run the machine in day and night shift
• Must be able to use 300, 600 and 1m vernier calipers with proficiency.
• Must be able to use upto 1m bore gage & OD micrometers with proficiency.
• Must be proficient with various QC tools & instruments including slip gage, height gage and depth vernier
