1. Key Responsibilities
• Independently execute site pre-commissioning, commissioning and SAT for DeltaV BPCS and SIS – cabinet
power-up, I/O checks and software downloads
• Perform loop checks, functional testing and third-party serial integration (Modbus) with vendors and client
commissioning teams
• Carry out system backups, health checks, preventive maintenance and online changes on running systems
under PTW and MOC
• Perform DeltaV system upgrades, including HCI / virtualization platforms
• Independently troubleshoot and resolve DCS/SIS, I/O, Foundation Fieldbus / HART and network issues at
site
• Prepare site reports, punch lists, SAT records and as-built mark-ups
• Coordinate directly with client operations, commissioning teams and site contractors, and represent SSP at
site
2. Required Skills
• Hands-on Emerson DeltaV DCS/SIS hardware and software configuration and maintenance
• Proven experience working independently at oil & gas sites
• Knowledge of HCI / virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
• DCS networking, redundancy, Foundation Fieldbus / HART and Modbus serial integration
• Understanding of instrumentation, control loops, ESD / F&G and cause & effect
• OT cybersecurity fundamentals
• Good troubleshooting, reporting and communication skills
• Willingness to work at remote interior sites.
