1. Key Responsibilities
• Lead site pre-commissioning, commissioning, SAT and start-up of DeltaV BPCS and SIS on new and
brownfield (live plant) facilities
• Execute loop checks, cause & effect / functional testing and third-party serial integration with vendors and
client commissioning teams
• Carry out online changes on running systems – backups, partial downloads, hardware additions, controller
and firmware upgrades
• Perform DeltaV system upgrades and migrations, including HCI / virtualization platforms
• Troubleshoot DCS/SIS, I/O, Foundation Fieldbus / HART, network and redundancy issues at site, and
support root-cause analysis of plant trips
• Prepare and review site documents – method statements, risk assessments, SAT procedures and reports,
punch lists and as-built updates
• Coordinate with client operations, commissioning teams, site contractors and vendors, and represent SSP in
site meetings
• Support OT cybersecurity implementation – patching, antivirus, backups, user management and system
hardening
2. Required Skills
• Strong hands-on Emerson DeltaV DCS/SIS hardware and software configuration, upgrades and
maintenance
• Proven site commissioning and start-up experience on operating oil & gas, chemical plants
• DeltaV upgrades on HCI / virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
• DCS networking, redundancy, Foundation Fieldbus / HART and Modbus serial integration
• Good understanding of control philosophies, instrumentation, ESD / F&G and cause & effect
• OT cybersecurity fundamentals (IEC 62443 awareness)
• Strong troubleshooting, reporting and communication skills
• Willingness to work at remote interior sites
