QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or accounting with 7 - 10 years of prior management experience.
Preferred hold one of a CPA/ACCA/CIMA certificate
PRINCIPAL DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise the preparation of monthly financial statements
Approve payroll, disbursements, and final benefits
Administers and finalize all types of taxes, fees, duties claims, refunds and payments of the company
Controls and follow up the receivable and payable accounts
Maintains the fixed assets registers
Liaises and arranges with External Auditors for annual audit reports
Supervises all the bank accounts’ movement and activities
Be in control of information flows between Accounts and other departments
Follows up of custom clearing payments related to imports
Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and procedures
Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations such as the Inland Revenue
Managing budgets and producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
