Education Background:
Two (2) years Diploma in engineering or equivalent; or high school
Experience:
Two (2) years of experience in Operations. Experience will normally include progression through the Operator Ill and Il positions.


Duties and Responsibilities:
1 . Field Operator is responsible for performing all tasks assigned in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with the established operating procedures and written or oral instructions from his Supervisor and Operation Engineer.
2. Adherence to company I-ISSE policy
3. Follow safe start-up & shutdown procedures.
4 Perform or assist in the start-up or shutdown of assigned plant and facilities according to approved operating procedures and general instructions.
5. Monitor operating conditions and make in-process adjustments either at the control board or within the plant to ensure safe and efficient process operations.
6. Maintain log books and operating log sheets recording temperature, pressures, flow rate, samples taken, volumes received and shipped,
7, Respond to emergency situations by taking necessary shutdown or process adjustment actions to restore normal operating conditions.
8. Make regular inspections of plant facilities to ensure the plant's correct functioning. Correct malfunctions if appropriate or refer situation/incidents to Lead Operator.
9. Cooperate with maintenance personnel by identifying/locating and demonstrating malfunctioning plants and equipment.
10. Inspect maintenance work as assigned.
